EL-O-Matic is a leading brand in premium quality rack and pinion valve actuation since 1973. Founded in the Netherlands, the EL-O-Matic brand quickly grew to become a global leader in actuation. With over millions of actuators sold worldwide into the toughest applications, you can be sure that the EL-O-Matic brand offers premium workmanship and durability.
El-O-Matic was established, initially as a subcontract machine shop, the company soon specialized in the manufacture of pneumatic rack and pinion valve actuators.
The El-O-Matic worldwide network was quickly established in just five years after the company was founded - the first national unit was opened in Germany.
This was followed by units in the U.S.A. (1982), United Kingdom and Singapore (1985), India (1990), and South Africa (1994).
The El-O-Matic company was acquired by Emerson Electric, an American multinational conglomerate consisting of more than 300 companies and divisions.
Updated EL-O-Matic logo is launched with the new F Series actuator, offering premium design engineering and latest in “Fit & Forget” technology.
EL-O-Matic is now managed by Emerson as an independent brand, widely available through a global network of independent distributors, valve OEMs, valve integrators, and Emerson Impact Partners.
“Fit and forget” Design Principles is one of the main design parameters in the development of the EL-O-Matic products is the “Fit and Forget” principle: they must be easy to install and then function faultlessly through a long working life, also the addition of ancillaries must be quick and easy to install. This is made possible by the high degree of modular construction in our products.
Over years of the product development and state of the art designs EL-O-Matic has produced three mains rack and pinion actuator ranges starting with the P-Series in 1973.
Note: P Series 90-degree actuators are obsoleted and now replaced by F Series.
Ten years later in 1983, the development was started for a successor product range to cope with the changing market requirements. The result was the very successful E-Series.

The latest actuator, F-Series, was launched in 2014. F Series continues tradition of “Fit & Forget”, but features key improvements:
The standard F Series has a body design of chromated cast aluminum that is powder coated for exceptional corrosion resistance.
